Well, unless it is already a fad in your area. Let me tell you what I mean.

Back when I was in school there was a particular brand of shoes that no one in the entire school had and probably never heard about either. They were basically just regular ordinary shoes, not unlike the Rocawear Pro Keds Shoes seen below. The thing is, I loved these shoes but was afraid that if I got them I would stick out like a sore thumb at school. You know what it is like when you feel like you have to conform to everyone else and wear what is the popular brand in order to fit in with your friends.

Well, I ended up getting the same brand that everyone else had. And I hated them. I couldn’t understand what the draw was to them and why everyone felt like they were the “in” thing in shoes.

Guess what kind of shoes that I really wanted. Pro Keds Shoes. No one anywhere in my area had even heard of them let alone be wearing them.

Well, as it turns out, now they are CLASSIC and people just love them! I should have listened to myself back then and got them — but I’ve got a few pairs now! You should too!
